The required documents depend on the category of your registration:
1. For Individual / Personal Domains
If you are registering a domain in your personal name:
- National Identity Card (NIC): A clear scanned copy or photo of both sides.
- Passport: A copy of the data page (Alternative to NIC).
2. For Registered Businesses & Companies
- If you are registering a domain under a business name:
- Business Registration (BR) Certificate Number
3. For Organizations, Clubs, or NGOs
- Request Letter: A formal letter on official letterhead authorizing the domain registration.
How to Submit Your Documents (Step-by-Step)
Follow these steps to ensure your application is processed without delays:
1. Prepare High-Quality Copies: Scan your original documents or take high-resolution photos. Ensure all text, stamps, and signatures are clearly legible.
2. File Format & Size: Save your documents as PDF, JPG, or PNG. Keep the file size under 2MB per document.
3. Upload to Client Area: Log in to your CeylonServers Client Area, navigate to your pending domain order, and use the Upload Documents section.
4. Wait for Registration: Once submitted, the Ceylonservers will review your documents. This process usually takes 10-15 Munites during business days.
